Responsibility
- Perform field surveys using RTK GPS, total stations, and data collectors to collect precise geospatial data.
- Establish, maintain, and recover survey control networks; verify intersections and boundaries.
- Prepare field sketches, calculations, and QA/QC checks; ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with project teams to support design and construction efforts.
- Operate and maintain survey equipment; ensure calibration and safety compliance.
- Produce accurate plat maps, topographic maps, and as-built drawings using Civil 3D and GIS tools.
- Assist in office tasks such as data processing, drafting, and report writing.
- Adhere to safety policies and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 2+ years of relevant field surveying experience; highway/railway experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with RTK GPS, total stations, data collectors, and digital leveling.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS software, and surveying data management.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills; attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork; ability to work in varying weather conditions and terrains.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in field operations.
