Responsibility

  • Perform field surveys using RTK GPS, total stations, and data collectors to collect precise geospatial data.
  • Establish, maintain, and recover survey control networks; verify intersections and boundaries.
  • Prepare field sketches, calculations, and QA/QC checks; ensure data integrity.
  • Coordinate with project teams to support design and construction efforts.
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment; ensure calibration and safety compliance.
  • Produce accurate plat maps, topographic maps, and as-built drawings using Civil 3D and GIS tools.
  • Assist in office tasks such as data processing, drafting, and report writing.
  • Adhere to safety policies and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years of relevant field surveying experience; highway/railway experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with RTK GPS, total stations, data collectors, and digital leveling.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS software, and surveying data management.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills; attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork; ability to work in varying weather conditions and terrains.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in field operations.
