Join our growing surveying team as a Senior Surveyor in Denver, CO. This full-time role offers a path to leadership on complex land and construction projects.
As a Senior Surveyor, you will oversee field crews, ensure data integrity, and deliver precise topographic and boundary surveys for civil, commercial, and infrastructure developments. You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibility
- Lead field surveys and establish control networks using GNSS, total stations, and traditional methods on diverse projects
- Oversee field crews, assign tasks, and monitor safety, quality, and schedule adherence
- Collect, process, and verify geospatial data; prepare field notes and check for data integrity
- Produce precise survey deliverables including topographic maps, plats, boundary surveys, and construction stakeouts
- Utilize Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS tools to develop design-ready drawings and reports
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients; respond to RFIs and provide expert guidance
- Support permit applications and align surveys with local regulations and industry standards
- Mentor junior survey staff and contribute to training and process improvements
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of field surveying experience; 5+ years for a Senior role
- Proficiency with GNSS (GPS), total stations, leveling, and field data collection software
- Strong experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS platforms
- Knowledge of local surveying laws, standards, and safety practices (CO preferred)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project-management skills
- Professional Surveyor (PS) licensure preferred or ability to obtain in Colorado within 12 months
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a client-focused mindset
