Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise survey field crews on a variety of projects including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
  • Perform GNSS and total station data collection with high accuracy and QA/QC procedures
  • Prepare and check field notes, calculations, and as-built records
  • Produce accurate maps and CAD deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project managers to define scope and milestones
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards on site
  • Mentor junior staff and provide training on survey techniques and data processing
  • Support project proposals and data interpretation for design teams

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Professional licensure as a Surveyor (PLS) preferred or commitment to licensure within 2 years
  • 5+ years of field surveying experience with GNSS and total stations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS concepts, and survey data processing
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with safety compliance and project documentation
