Responsibility
- Lead and supervise survey field crews on a variety of projects including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
- Perform GNSS and total station data collection with high accuracy and QA/QC procedures
- Prepare and check field notes, calculations, and as-built records
- Produce accurate maps and CAD deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project managers to define scope and milestones
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards on site
- Mentor junior staff and provide training on survey techniques and data processing
- Support project proposals and data interpretation for design teams
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Professional licensure as a Surveyor (PLS) preferred or commitment to licensure within 2 years
- 5+ years of field surveying experience with GNSS and total stations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS concepts, and survey data processing
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with safety compliance and project documentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel to field sites as needed
- Proficiency with field software and data collection apps on rugged devices
