We are seeking a Senior Training Manager to architect and scale high-impact programs for Fortune 500 clients and ambitious teams in New York. This role blends instructional design, strategic leadership, and hands-on delivery to elevate our clients' capabilities.
In this role, you’ll partner with executives, instructional designers, and subject-matter experts to design, implement, and evaluate training initiatives that align with business outcomes. You’ll lead program development, drive adoption, and measure impact to ensure measurable ROI.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and manage end-to-end training programs for diverse audiences across multiple industries.
- Lead needs assessments, audience analysis, and curriculum design to address critical skills gaps.
- Oversee the creation of engaging, scalable training materials (ILT, e-learning, microlearning) and mentor developers.
- Partner with clients and stakeholders to define success metrics, deliverables, and timelines; manage project plans and budgets.
- Deliver high-impact live and virtual training sessions, coaching facilitators, and ensuring an exceptional learner experience.
- Analyze program effectiveness using KPI dashboards; iterate based on data and feedback to maximize ROI.
- Lead a growing training team and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Design) to support business goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training & Development, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate training, learning & development, or instructional design; enterprise scale is a plus.
- Proven expertise in instructional design, adult learning theories, and e-learning development; experience with LMS (e.g., Cornerstone, Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills; ability to engage executives and diverse learner groups.
- Data-driven mindset with experience designing measurement plans, dashboards, and ROI analyses.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (post-pandemic norms) and adapt to client needs.
