NovaSkills Consulting is seeking a results-driven Senior Training Specialist to design, deliver, and optimize professional development programs for corporate clients. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging curricula, applying modern instructional design practices and learning technologies to drive performance outcomes. This full-time role is based in Austin, TX, with hybrid work options and competitive benefits.
As a key member of our learning team, you will translate complex concepts into clear, actionable content and ensure programs align with client objectives and measurable results.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deliver high-impact training programs for professionals across industries.
- Analyze performance gaps, conduct needs assessments, and define measurable learning objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create curricula, eLearning modules, instructor-led sessions, and job aids.
- Plan and manage end-to-end program delivery including scheduling, logistics, and facilitation.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics (Kirkpatrick levels, surveys, and analytics) and iterate content for improvement.
- Mentor junior instructional designers and facilitators; champion scalable, repeatable learning experiences.
- Integrate with LMS platforms and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate) to publish and track learning.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Instructional Design, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or facilitation with a proven track record of delivering multi-session programs.
- Strong knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, and adult learning principles; demonstrated ability to design effective assessments.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Moodle, Cornerstone OnDemand, SAP Litmos) and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Storyline).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CPLP, ATD CDT/CATP are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate across teams, and adapt to client needs; occasional travel up to 15%.
