GlobalLingua Solutions is seeking a dedicated Translator with excellent language skills, industry experience, and a passion for accurate localization. This role offers a blend of creative language work and structured project coordination.
As a translator, you will work on high-impact content across industries, ensuring culturally appropriate and technically precise translations in English to Spanish and Portuguese, with opportunities to broaden into additional language pairs.

Responsibility
- Translate and localize content from English to Spanish and Portuguese (and other language pairs as needed), preserving meaning, tone, and style.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and freelance translators to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Proofread, edit, and QA translated content; manage terminology and update glossaries for consistency.
- Leverage CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, Memsource) to maximize efficiency and maintain translation memories.
- Adhere to client style guides, brand voice, and industry-specific terminology for diverse projects.
- Provide accurate project estimates, track progress, and report status to stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional translation/localization experience, with English to Spanish and/or Portuguese pairs strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with CAT tools (SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, Memsource) and terminology management processes.
- Excellent command of English and at least one target language (Spanish or Portuguese), including grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience with QA processes, glossaries, and adherence to style guides and localization best practices.
- Portfolio or samples demonstrating high-quality translations and confidentiality integrity.
