You will translate, review, and adapt content across industries including tech, marketing, and e commerce. Responsibilities include translating and localizing content for websites, apps, marketing materials, and product documentation, building and maintaining glossaries, leveraging CAT tools, performing quality assurance, and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver on time and within budget. You will contribute to translation memory strategy and help optimize for multilingual SEO when applicable. This role requires strong attention to detail and a passion for language accuracy.
Responsibility
- Translate and localize content for websites, apps, marketing materials, and product documentation while preserving tone and brand voice
- Manage terminology and maintain glossaries and style guides
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure accurate localization for new features and campaigns
- Utilize CAT tools and translation memories to improve efficiency and consistency
- Perform quality assurance and linguistic testing across target locales
- Adhere to deadlines, track progress, and report blockers to project managers
- Contribute to multilingual SEO localization strategies and metadata when applicable
- Mentor junior translators and provide constructive feedback
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or related field
- 5+ years of professional translation or localization experience in tech or e commerce
- Native level English with proficiency in at least one other target language
- Strong command of CAT tools (eg SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Memsource) and translation memories
- Experience with terminology management and style guides
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Awareness of SEO localization best practices is a plus
