Responsibility
- Lead fleet optimization initiatives and route planning to improve on-time delivery and reduce mileage.
- Analyze transportation data to identify cost drivers, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Safety, and Procurement teams to develop transportation strategies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track performance and inform decision-making.
- Manage relationships with carriers, third-party logistics providers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies across all modes of transport.
- Support cost-to-serve modeling and what-if analyses to support budgeting and strategic planning.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in transportation planning, logistics, or equivalent roles.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), route optimization tools, GIS, SQL, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance applicable to the transportation domain.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver against deadlines.
