Responsibility

  • Lead development of short- and long-term transportation plans, routing optimization, capacity planning, and network design.
  • Analyze data to optimize routes, timetables, modal mix, and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, product, and finance teams to implement transportation solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, executive reporting, and presentation of recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations (FMCSA, DOT) and industry standards.
  • Monitor KPIs, create performance dashboards, and adjust strategies to maximize reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship to junior planners and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation planning or logistics.
  • Strong proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL).
  • Experience with transportation modeling tools (Cube, TransCAD, Visum) or Python for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance (FMCSA, DOT) and safety standards.
