As a Senior Transportation Planner, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and implement solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety. You will influence policy and invest in multimodal strategies that move people and goods more effectively.

Responsibility
- Lead transportation planning projects, including corridor studies, route optimization, demand forecasting, and policy analysis.
- Analyze transportation data (GIS, traffic counts, travel times, freight flows) to support evidence-based decision making.
- Collaborate with city agencies, transit operators, shippers, and suppliers to develop scalable mobility solutions.
- Model and forecast demand and capacity using tools such as GIS, transportation models, and Python-based analytics.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track program impact.
- Prepare compelling presentations, briefs, and grant proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee consultants, budgets, and project timelines.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of transportation planning, logistics, or mobility analytics experience.
- Strong proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), SQL, and advanced Excel; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Experience with travel demand modelling, forecasting, and multimodal network analysis.
- Knowledge of transportation policy, safety, and environmental guidelines; ability to translate policy into actionable programs.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
- Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams and consultants.
