At ApexDesign Studio, we are on a mission to craft products that balance beauty and usability. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can translate complex user needs into elegant interfaces across web and mobile platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a modern design system and stakeholder-facing responsibilities.
As a member of our product design team, you will own the end-to-end experience from discovery to delivery, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers to ship accessible, data-informed designs that delight users.
Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process across web and mobile apps, from discovery to delivery.
- Design and evolve a scalable design system, guidelines, and patterns to ensure consistency.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and synthesize insights into actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into intuitive interfaces.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design; ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1+.
- Present design concepts to cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback iteratively.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to design system documentation.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in SaaS or digital products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, interaction design, and visual language across web and mobile.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Figma Libraries, and prototyping tools; experience with design systems.
- Solid understanding of information architecture, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing; ability to translate insights into actionable design improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
