Job description
Join a premium design-forward studio in the heart of San Francisco as a Senior UI/UX Designer. You will shape exceptional digital experiences for a diverse set of clients, collaborating with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver elegant, accessible, and measurable designs.
You’ll own end-to-end design from discovery to delivery, champion user-centered methods, and contribute to a growing design system that scales across platforms.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to translate complex problems into intuitive UI/UX solutions.
- Design end-to-end user journeys, information architecture, and interaction models for web and mobile.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and related tools.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze results, and iterate designs to improve usability and conversions.
- Establish and evolve design system components, typography, color, spacing, and accessibility guidelines.
- Advocate for accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design across devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and quality assurance.
- Present design decisions to stakeholders with clear rationale and data-driven outcomes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience for digital products, preferably in agency or cross-product environments.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design process, problem solving, and impact.
- Proficiency in Figma, with experience using other tools like Sketch/Adobe Creative Suite for assets.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, typography, color theory, and visual design systems.
- Experience with design systems, prototyping, and usability testing methodologies.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills; fluent in cross-functional teamwork.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
