NovaForge Labs is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our product design team in Austin. You’ll shape exceptional user experiences across web and mobile by collaborating with product managers, researchers, and engineers. Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for core customer journeys across web and mobile.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to define user flows and information architecture.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and maintain a scalable design system in Figma.
- Conduct user research and usability testing; synthesize insights into actionable design improvements.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design across devices.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to design critiques, process improvements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and performance.
- Advocate for data-informed design decisions and measure impact with product metrics.
Qualification
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio across web and mobile.
- Proficiency in Figma; experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Solid understanding of user research methods; ability to translate insights into design decisions.
- Strong interaction design skills; experience with prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, etc.).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to present design rationale to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in hybrid/remote environments.
