Job description
PixelCove Studio is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our design-forward team in Seattle. You will shape delightful, accessible experiences for web and mobile products, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver value-driven designs.
In this role, you will drive the end-to-end design process, from discovery and user research to wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs. You will contribute to the design system and mentor junior designers to raise our team's craft.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for key product features, from concept to delivery.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesis to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and data teams to define requirements and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain design system components, guidelines, and pattern libraries.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design across products.
- Mentor junior designers and participate in design reviews to uplift team craft.
Qualification
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience for web and mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product design and user-centered thinking.
- Expertise with Figma or similar design tools; experience with prototyping and handoff.
- Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing; ability to translate insights into design decisions.
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and design tokens.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design practices.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to influence product direction.
