NovaPixel Studio is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Berlin-based team. You will translate complex problems into intuitive, visually striking interfaces that empower users and drive product success.
As a core member of our product design group, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape end-to-end experiences across web and mobile platforms. We value curiosity, craftsmanship, accessibility, and a user-centric mindset.
What you’ll do: create user-centered designs, build and maintain design systems, conduct usability testing, and deliver high-fidelity prototypes that stakeholders love.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design from discovery through delivery for web and mobile platforms.
- Create and maintain scalable design systems and style guides.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to define interaction models and information architecture.
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Champion accessibility and responsive design across devices.
- Present and advocate design decisions to stakeholders, iterating based on feedback.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience in product teams, preferably SaaS or tech-driven.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, user research, and interaction design.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and InVision; experience with design systems.
- Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility WCAG standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams; fluent English; German is a plus.
- Experience with usability testing, analytics, and data-informed design decisions.
