NovaForge Labs is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to shape the next generation of our product experiences. Based in Austin, TX, this full-time role offers a hybrid work model, competitive salary, and opportunities to impact strategy and design systems at scale.
As a key member of our design team, you’ll craft delightful, accessible interfaces for web and mobile, collaborate with product and engineering, and mentor fellow designers to raise the bar on excellence.

Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process for web and mobile experiences, from discovery to high-fidelity final designs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces.
- Create and maintain scalable design systems, components, and style guides to ensure brand consistency.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions and iterate quickly.
- Develop wireframes, user journeys, information architectures, and interactive prototypes to validate concepts.
- Ensure accessibility and WCAG compliance across all products and platforms.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of learning and feedback.
Qualification
- 4+ years of UI/UX design experience in software products (SaaS or consumer) with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and design systems.
- Experience building, documenting, and maintaining scalable design systems and component libraries.
- Solid knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics and front-end constraints to work effectively with engineers.
