Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end editing process for feature films, short-form content, and commercials.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and cinematographers to realize creative vision and deliver on schedule.
  • Oversee rough cuts, color-grading passes, audio mixing, and final delivery in multiple formats.
  • Mentor junior editors and interns, establishing production workflow and quality standards.
  • Maintain project organization, assets, and version control; ensure assets meet broadcast and streaming specs.
  • Incorporate VFX, motion graphics, and sound design as needed, working with external vendors when required.
  • Stay current with post-production tech trends and implement efficient pipelines using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Coordinate with post-production team to hit deadlines and manage budget constraints.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Editing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years professional editing experience in film, television, or digital media.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and color grading tools; experience with DaVinci Resolve a plus.
  • Strong storytelling ability, pacing, and sense of rhythm; ability to translate director's vision into compelling edits.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience delivering content for multiple formats and platforms (theatrical, broadcast, streaming, social).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; familiarity with asset management and version control.
  • Portfolio or reel showcasing variety of editing styles and project types.
