Job description

PulseFrame Productions is seeking a Senior Video Producer to lead end-to-end film and video projects from concept to delivery. This role blends creative direction, production management, and post-production oversight to deliver compelling stories for our diverse client base.

As a key leader on our production team, you will collaborate with clients, directors, and editors to craft strategic narratives that meet brand goals and budget constraints. You will manage schedules, crews, and vendor relationships while maintaining a high standard of quality and a safe, efficient set environment.

In addition to strong project management, you will mentor junior producers and help grow our internal production capabilities across formats including commercials, short documentaries, branded content, and social video.

Ideal candidates bring a robust reel, hands-on production experience, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. If you’re passionate about storytelling and can navigate complex logistics with calm under pressure, you’ll thrive in this role.

Responsibility

  • Lead development of project briefs, creative concepts, and production timelines.
  • Oversee pre-production planning: casting, location scouting, permits, risk assessment, and scheduling.
  • Direct on-set production: crew management, shot lists, safety protocols, and day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate with directors, DPs, editors, and sound designers to ensure a cohesive creative vision.
  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, procurement, and vendor performance against milestones.
  • Oversee post-production workflow, review edits, color, and audio to guarantee delivery standards.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet technical specs, brand guidelines, and client expectations on time and on budget.
  • Mentor and develop junior producers, fostering cross-functional collaboration and process improvements.

Qualification

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in video production, film, or related fields with a strong portfolio and reel.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end productions across formats (commercials, branded content, short films, social video).
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency with production tools and software (e.g., Frame.io, StudioBinder, ShotLister, Adobe Suite).
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract understanding; knowledge of insurance and legal considerations.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with directors, DPs, editors, clients, and crews.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities; located in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA.
  • Willingness to travel for shoots as needed and maintain a flexible schedule.
