Luminary Films, a premium independent production house based in Los Angeles, seeks a Senior Video Producer to lead high impact video projects from concept to delivery. This is a full time, on site role with competitive benefits and a creative, collaborative culture.
As a senior producer, you will shepherd projects through development, production and post, ensuring on time, on budget delivery while maintaining the highest standards of storytelling and production quality.
Responsibility
- Lead end to end video production from concept through delivery
- Collaborate with clients, creative directors, and producing team to shape compelling narratives
- Manage production calendars, budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation
- Oversee on set direction, crew coordination, talent management, and safety compliance
- Direct post production workflow including rough cuts, color, sound, and client revisions
- Source locations, permits, and equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and risk management
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards across all deliverables
Qualification
- 5+ years in film or video production with portfolio of narrative and branded content
- Bachelor degree in film media communications or equivalent
- Proven on set leadership and ability to direct talent and crews
- Strong project management, budgeting, scheduling and vendor management
- Proficiency with industry standard editing and motion graphics tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, travel for shoots as needed
- Knowledge of permits licensing and union guidelines is a plus
