We are seeking a proactive, results-driven WASH Senior Engineer to lead programs, coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that improves health outcomes for communities.
In this role, you will translate strategic goals into actionable project plans, oversee technical design, monitor performance, manage budgets, and mentor a diverse team. You’ll collaborate with local governments, NGOs, community leaders, and donors to scale impact and ensure lasting change.

Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of WASH projects from concept to closeout.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, NGOs, and community leadership to ensure alignment and acceptance.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, technical standards, and environmental and social safeguards.
- Oversee technical design, specifications, and quality assurance for water supply and sanitation facilities.
- Lead risk management, M&E activities, and evidence-based reporting to stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor field teams, building local capacity and sustainability.
- Prepare compelling progress reports and communicate results to donors and partners.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering WASH projects in international development, government, or NGO settings.
- Proven track record with donor-funded programs, budgets, and result-based reporting.
- Strong knowledge of groundwater supply, piped networks, sanitation facilities, and M&E methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, written and verbal communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with GIS, hydraulic modeling, or project management software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to field sites and work in challenging environments; ability to adapt and stay resilient.
- Fluency in English; additional local language is a plus.
