At CleanFlow Environmental Solutions we design and deliver innovative waste management programs for industrial and municipal clients. We are seeking a Senior Waste Management Engineer who combines regulatory expertise with hands on engineering to reduce waste generation, optimize recycling, and maintain compliance across projects.
In this pivotal role you will lead project teams, collaborate with operations and safety professionals, and drive outcomes that improve environmental performance and bottom line results.
Responsibility
- Lead and implement waste management programs across multiple client sites and projects.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with RCRA, TSCA, CWA EPA standards and manage permit applications and renewals.
- Develop waste diversion strategies, recycling programs, and landfill optimization plans; monitor KPIs and reporting.
- Coordinate with operations, safety, and engineering teams; manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.
- Perform life cycle analyses, cost benefit analyses, and risk assessments for waste reduction projects.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and client presentations; communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
- 5+ years in waste management, environmental compliance, or related area.
- Strong knowledge of waste regulations including RCRA, TSCA, CWA; permit experience desired.
- Proficiency with GIS, data analytics, and modeling tools; experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
- Project management experience; ability to lead cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; client facing presentation skills.
