GreenPath Waste Solutions is a leading provider of sustainable waste management and recycling services. We partner with hospitals, manufacturers, and municipalities to reduce waste, lower costs, and advance circular economy initiatives. We are seeking a Senior Waste Management Project Manager to lead strategic projects across our client portfolio.
In this role, you will combine technical expertise with strong leadership to deliver measurable results. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and compliance teams to design and execute waste diversion programs, monitor performance, and ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibility
- Lead strategic waste management projects from scoping to execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Develop and implement recycling and diversion programs for clients and optimize waste streams.
- Manage cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, compliance, and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with EPA, state and local regulations and safety standards; maintain thorough documentation.
- Analyze waste data, prepare dashboards and executive reports for clients and leadership.
- Build and maintain client relationships; present status updates and support proposals and renewals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years in waste management, recycling, or environmental services; project management experience required.
- PMP or similar certification preferred; strong analytical and budgeting skills.
- Solid knowledge of EPA RCRA regulations, permits, and waste characterization methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management abilities; fluent in presenting to executives.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work in client sites.
