BlueStream International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water and Sanitation Engineer to lead urban and rural WASH projects in Kenya. You will design, implement, and monitor water supply and sanitation systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with government agencies, communities, and partners.

Responsibility
- Lead planning, design, and implementation of water supply and sanitation projects from inception to completion.
- Develop technical designs, hydraulic models, and bill of quantities; oversee compliance with local codes and standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and procurement processes.
- Lead multi-stakeholder coordination with government, utilities, NGOs, and communities to ensure project success.
- Supervise site investigations, quality assurance, and construction supervision.
- Prepare technical reports, monitoring dashboards, and sustainability assessments.
- Mentor junior engineers and build capacity of local teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering; master's preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in water supply and sanitation projects, preferably in Africa.
- Proficiency with hydraulic modeling tools such as EPANET and GIS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of WASH project cycles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; fluency in English; knowledge of local languages a plus.
- Project management experience and ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in challenging environments.
