AquaVita Engineering & Development is seeking a motivated Senior Water & Sanitation Engineer to lead design, implementation, and oversight of WASH projects across urban and rural communities.

Responsibility
- Lead the planning, design, and supervision of water supply, sanitation, and drainage schemes from concept to commissioning.
- Conduct technical assessments, hydraulic modeling, and risk analyses to ensure safe, reliable systems.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate technical proposals, and support procurement activities.
- Manage field operations, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Develop operation and maintenance manuals and provide training to local staff and utilities.
- Monitor project performance, track milestones and budgets, and deliver timely progress reports.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and utilities to align with national WASH standards and policies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in water supply and sanitation projects within the WASH sector.
- Professional Engineering license (PE) or equivalent registration.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools (EPANET, WaterGEMS) and GIS software.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of Nigerian WASH regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, and presentation skills in English.
