In this role, you will be the primary face of our service department - listening to customer needs, analyzing symptoms, and guiding them through service options. You will prepare accurate estimates, explain warranty considerations, and ensure transparent communication from check-in to vehicle delivery. You will work closely with our master technicians to schedule work efficiently while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will also drive business outcomes by identifying preventive maintenance opportunities, building trust with customers, and promoting approved services that help cars run safely and longer. Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly and capture service requirements, vehicle history, and symptoms
- Provide accurate service estimates and clearly communicate the scope of work
- Coordinate service appointments with customers and the workshop team
- Upsell preventive maintenance and approved repair services when appropriate
- Update service records in the CRM and ensure data accuracy
- Serve as the liaison between customers and technicians, communicating progress and timelines
- Follow company policies on warranty, pricing, and quality standards while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain a tidy, inviting service reception area and professional demeanor
Qualification
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or similar role in automotive service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Knowledge of automotive systems and basic diagnostic concepts
- Proficiency with CRM software and standard office tools (MS Office)
- Team player with a professional attitude and a customer-centric mindset
