As a Service Engineer, you will participate in field service across the North Region, installing, commissioning, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to minimize downtime for customers. You will document all service activities, prepare detailed service reports, and provide knowledge transfer to customers. You will also work with sales and operations teams to plan visits, prepare accurate quotes for additional work, and recommend product and process improvements. The ideal candidate is technically curious, customer oriented, safety minded, and capable of working independently as well as within a team. Responsibility
- Provide on site and remote troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of equipment in the North Region
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure peak equipment performance
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults and perform timely repairs or replacements
- Document all service activities, create detailed service reports, and log maintenance in the service management system
- Coordinate with customers, sales, and operations to plan field visits and prepare accurate quotes for additional work
- Calibrate, configure, and test equipment after service interventions to ensure compliance with specifications
- Provide customer training and knowledge transfer on operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting
- Adhere to safety standards, quality procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics engineering or related technical field
- 1-3 years of field service, maintenance, or service engineering experience with electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems
- Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills; ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
- Experience with calibration, testing, and commissioning of equipment; PLC or instrumentation knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to travel within the North Region
- Safety minded with ability to work independently and as part of a team
