NovaLine Global Logistics is seeking a results-driven Shipping Coordinator to join our Seattle team. In this role you will orchestrate daily shipping operations, partner with carriers, and ensure our customers receive on-time, accurate deliveries. Responsibility
- Coordinate daily outbound shipping activities, select carriers, and optimize routes to meet service levels.
- Manage all shipping documentation, duties and taxes, and import/export compliance.
- Monitor live shipment status, troubleshoot exceptions, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and customer service to align on schedules and inventory.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers; drive freight spend optimization.
- Implement process improvements using TMS/WMS tools and data analytics.
- Audit carrier invoices, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain vendor records.
Qualification
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and vendor management abilities.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
