Pacific Tide Logistics is seeking a proactive Shipping Operations Coordinator in Singapore to join our growing team. You will coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and customs, monitor shipments, and drive improvements in delivery performance. Responsibility
- Coordinate daily ocean freight operations, carrier bookings, vessel schedules, and cargo consolidation.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor shipments from origin to destination, provide proactive updates, and manage exception resolution.
- Liaise with warehouses, customs brokers, and external partners to ensure smooth clearance and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and safety standards.
- Generate performance reports, analyze KPIs, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support sales and customer service with quotes, lead times, and issue resolution.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of ocean freight processes, Incoterms, and customs clearance.
- Experience with TMS/ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; willingness to work extended hours as needed.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CILT, APICS) are a plus.
