As a Shipping Operations Lead, you will partner with carriers, freight forwards, warehouses, and customers to ensure on time delivery, compliance, and cost optimization. This role offers visibility, impact, and a clear path to leadership within a dynamic, data driven environment.

Responsibility
- Oversee end to end shipping operations across multiple modes including sea and air
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners to secure capacity and optimize routing
- Ensure import and export compliance, including documentation, duties, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor KPIs such as on time performance, transit times, cost per shipment, and carrier scorecards
- Lead root cause analysis for delays and implement preventive actions
- Develop and manage a high performing operations team, including training and performance reviews
- Optimize shipping costs through rate negotiation, vendor selection, and process automation
- Coordinate with sales, customer service, and IT to ensure seamless end user experience
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of shipping or logistics operations experience in a fast paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade compliance
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Data driven with strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to lead a team, manage priorities, and work across time zones
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
