AtlasWave Logistics is a premium, end-to-end freight and supply chain partner serving a global roster of manufacturers and merchants. We are expanding our shipping operations team in Singapore to optimize international and domestic shipments across air, ocean, and express lanes.
As Shipping Operations Manager, you will own day-to-day scheduling, carrier relationships, compliance, performance analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with warehousing, customs, and sales teams. You will drive operational efficiency, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end shipping operations for international and domestic routes, from order entry to delivery confirmation.
- Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, service levels, and penalties; monitor on-time departure and transit times.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with warehousing, customs, trade compliance, and sales to ensure seamless order execution.
- Implement process improvements using data analytics to reduce transit times, demurrage, and stockouts.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (customs documentation, INCOTERMS, hazardous materials, security requirements) and maintain audit-ready records.
- Oversee rate benchmarking, budget adherence, and cost-to-serve optimization with a focus on profitability.
- Lead a small shipping team, providing coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Develop and report KPIs (delivery performance, dwell times, carrier scorecards) to executive leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; professional certifications preferred (CSCP, C.L.S.).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in shipping/logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL/4PL operations.
- Proven expertise in INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance in Singapore and international contexts.
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP/ TMS/ WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and lead a team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
