Join NovaLine Logistics as a Shipping Operations Manager and lead our global shipping operations from Singapore. This is a senior role focused on delivering worldclass service, optimizing cost, and ensuring compliance across all international shipments.
You will collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to design and execute efficient routing, provide accurate documentation, and drive continuous improvement in a fast paced, global environment.
What you will do:
- Manage end to end shipping operations for global shipments with a focus on on time delivery and cost efficiency
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouses to optimize routing, capacity, and transit times
- Monitor KPIs such as on time performance, transit times, cost per container, and service levels
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs documentation
- Lead cross functional teams across procurement, warehouse and logistics to streamline processes
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems and data analytics
- Develop and manage carrier agreements, negotiate rates, and maximize value
Responsibility

- Develop and manage carrier contracts and negotiate rates to maximize value
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of shipping/logistics experience, preferably in international freight
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
- Data driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and drive improvements
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, global logistics environment and travel as needed
