OceanEdge Logistics is seeking a results-driven Shipping Operations Manager to lead our regional shipping activities in Singapore. You will orchestrate freight, customs, and carrier relationships to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient movement of goods across our network.
In this role, you will partner with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to optimize routing, scheduling, and capacity utilization while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.

Responsibility
- Lead daily shipping operations across multi-modal networks (sea, air, and road) to meet service level targets and customer commitments.
- Coordinate carrier selection, rate negotiation, and contract management to optimize transportation costs.
- Oversee documentation accuracy for customs, duties, and compliance, ensuring clean audits and timely shipments.
- Monitor key performance metrics (on-time in-full, transit times, compliance) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to optimize capacity planning and routing.
- Manage a team of coordinators, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; professional certifications (CILT, APICS) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on shipping/logistics operations experience, with multi-modal freight exposure.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, incoterms, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (examples: SAP, Oracle, Oracle NetSuite, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across internal teams and external carriers.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing operations team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
