Join ApexGlobal Freight, a premium logistics partner specializing in international shipping and supply chain solutions. Based in Singapore, we are seeking a proactive Shipping Operations Specialist to drive excellence in our cross-border operations.
In this role, you will coordinate shipments from origin to destination, ensure compliance, and partner with carriers, brokers, and customers to deliver reliable service.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage international shipments from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Prepare, review, and process export and import documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to secure space and monitor transit status.
- Negotiate rates, optimize routing, and monitor KPIs to reduce landed costs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with trade regulations and Incoterms; maintain accurate HS codes and classifications.
- Maintain shipment data in the ERP/TMS, track exceptions, and generate actionable performance reports.
- Resolve issues related to delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs holds; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field; 2+ years of shipping or logistics experience.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, export/import documentation, and trade compliance.
- Experience with ERP/TMS systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, dashboards).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with Singapore import/export regulations and HS codes is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
