Join Apex Marine Logistics, a premium global shipping partner, as a Shipping Operations Specialist in Singapore. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of freight movements, from carrier booking to delivery confirmation, ensuring on-time performance and cost efficiency.

Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end shipments (ocean and air) from origin to destination, including booking, routing, and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customers to meet service levels and deadlines.
- Prepare and verify freight documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor shipment status with real-time tracking, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to protect schedules.
- Optimize routing and consolidation to reduce costs while preserving service quality.
- Oversee customs clearance and HS code/tariff classification in collaboration with brokers.
- Maintain data quality in ERP/WMS systems, generate performance KPIs, and provide reports to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of shipping/logistics experience, preferably in freight forwarding or 3PL environments.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs processes, and HS codes; experience with Singapore customs is a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a multicultural environment.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Legal eligibility to work in Singapore.
