Responsibility
- Coordinate domestic and international freight movements, selecting optimal carriers and routes.
- Manage carrier negotiations, rate requests, and performance monitoring to optimize cost and service levels.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation including proforma invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
- Monitor shipments to ensure on time delivery and communicate delays with stakeholders promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to align supply chain activities.
- Utilize ERP systems for order management, track and trace, and exception resolution.
- Analyze data to identify root causes of delays and implement process improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a minimum of 3 years related experience.
- Proven experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination in a global environment.
- Strong knowledge of incoterms, customs clearance, and import/export compliance.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
