Starburst Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Site Engineer (Project) to join our project delivery team in Tuas Bay, West Region, Singapore. You will coordinate day-to-day activities, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, and support the seamless execution of multi-discipline works from site setup to final handover. As a Site Engineer, you will work under the Project Manager to monitor progress against schedule, track on-site resources, and verify workmanship against specifications and drawings. You will conduct site inspections, manage QA/QC activities, and assist with method statements, risk assessments, and document control. By coordinating safety compliance and material deliveries, you will help minimize delays while maintaining a positive, collaborative working environment. You will also contribute to progress reporting, issue resolution, and closeout documentation to support successful project completion.

Responsibility
- Coordinate day-to-day on-site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time execution.
- Monitor construction progress against the project schedule and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements across all trades.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and permit documents; assist with method statements and risk assessments.
- Conduct site inspections and QA/QC activities; prepare non-conformance reports and verify corrective actions.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials; supervise subcontractor performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with documentation, progress reporting, and handover deliverables such as as-built drawings and commissioning records.
- Facilitate effective communication with clients and stakeholders; participate in site meetings and coordination meetings.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or a related built-environment discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of site engineering or construction experience on civil or mechanical projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software; basic project management tools.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local Singapore standards, safety regulations, and QA/QC processes; WSH certification preferred.
- Willingness to perform on-site duties at short notice and mobility across project sites.
