Addcel Engineering Pte Ltd is a forward‑thinking engineering contractor delivering integrated mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) solutions for commercial, residential, and industrial projects across Singapore. We are seeking a proactive Site Manager (MEP) to lead on‑site execution and ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of works.
In this role, you will oversee day‑to‑day MEP construction activities, coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams, review drawings and shop drawings, and monitor progress against the project schedule. You will manage site safety, implement QA/QC processes, and ensure compliance with local codes and client specifications. You will communicate regularly with clients and consultants, prepare progress reports, and manage on‑site issue resolution to keep projects on track.

Responsibility
- Lead on‑site MEP construction activities for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, and approved schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve RFIs, design clarifications, and installation issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, oversee toolbox talks, and implement the site safety plan to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor quality control processes, conduct regular site inspections, and manage testing and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection).
- Review, approve and manage method statements, work packages, and as‑built documentation; maintain accurate daily progress and materials tracking.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on scheduling, procurement coordination, and cost control to minimize delays and budget overruns.
- Lead and develop on‑site teams, provide guidance to subcontractors, and resolve on‑site conflicts to sustain productivity and quality.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, snag lists, and handover documentation; ensure smooth handover to facilities management.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil/Construction Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of on‑site MEP supervision experience in Singapore or similar market.
- Strong knowledge of local codes and standards (BCA guidelines, Singapore Standards) and ability to ensure compliance.
- Proven track record delivering complex MEP installations on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills; ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and consultants.
- Proficiency with project management tools and MEP coordination software (eg. MS Project, BIM coordination, AutoCAD or similar).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality; relevant safety certifications and training are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain meticulous documentation.
