Overview
\nJoin Svp Integrated Engineering as a Site / Project Engineer (Electrical) based in Bishan, Central Region. We design, install, and commission electrical systems for building and industrial projects nationwide. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on site execution, offering a clear path for career growth in electrical project management.
\nIn this role you will manage day-to-day project operations, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and liaise with clients to ensure milestones are achieved safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will review electrical drawings and specifications, develop work packages, and oversee on-site installation of cables, switchgear, panels, power distribution, lighting, and containment systems. You will also monitor quality, safety, and environmental requirements, conducting toolbox talks and risk assessments as needed.
\nAs a primary on-site liaison, you will produce progress reports, manage variations, and support commissioning and handover with documented as-built drawings and O&M manuals. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with a pragmatic, safety-first mindset. \nResponsibility

- Manage day-to-day on-site operations for electrical project delivery, ensuring activities flow smoothly and align with project plans. \n
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule measurements, installations, testing, and commissioning. \n
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, method statements, and material specifications; ensure compliance with standards and project requirements. \n
- Oversee installation of electrical systems including cabling, panel boards, switchgear, lighting, and distribution boards; monitor workmanship and quality control. \n
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations; conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and near-miss reporting. \n
- Track progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, monitor budget and schedule, manage variations, and support procurement activities as needed. \n
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams for inspections, commissioning, and handover; compile as-built drawings and O&M manuals. \n
Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline. \n
- 3-7 years of hands-on site or project engineering experience in electrical works for building or industrial projects. \n
- Strong understanding of electrical construction practices, materials, codes, and safety standards. \n
- Proficient in AutoCAD and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera); able to interpret drawings and specifications. \n
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities; strong stakeholder management skills. \n
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines. \n
- Proactive, team-focused, and committed to quality and safety on site. \n
