DBM Engineering is seeking a results-driven Site Supervisor for a contract role in Selangor, Malaysia. As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee daily field activities, coordinate with engineers and architects, manage site logistics, and monitor quality control. You will enforce safety practices, review drawings, approve method statements, and ensure compliance with local regulations. You will maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, manpower, and material usage, and support timely procurement and delivery of materials to keep work progressing on schedule. Excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams is essential to success.

Responsibility
- Lead daily on-site operations, ensuring work is performed safely, on time, and to design specifications.
- Supervise construction teams and subcontractors, manage on-site performance, and coordinate delivery of materials.
- Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
- Monitor quality control and workmanship, conducting regular inspections against drawings and specifications.
- Review drawings and technical plans with engineers and architects; interpret changes and advise on constructability.
- Maintain accurate site records (daily reports, progress photos, manpower, equipment, and material usage) and prepare progress updates for the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and authorities for permits, approvals, and site access; manage logistics and site activities.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of site supervision experience on construction projects (Malaysian context preferred).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications; proficient with Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.
- Proven leadership and communication skills; able to manage subcontractors and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, CIDB) or formal safety training is a plus.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written); proactive problem-solver with good time management.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and adapt to changing project priorities.
