Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop person-centered service plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for at-risk clients.
- Coordinate services across schools, healthcare providers, housing programs, and community resources.
- Advocate for clients' rights and connect them with benefits, financial assistance, and supportive services.
- Monitor client progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans based on changing needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in case conferences and care planning meetings.
- Maintain compliance with privacy laws, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies.
Qualification
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program; LICSW or LMSW eligible in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional social work experience in child welfare, family services, or behavioral health.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and advocacy skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and community resources in Boston and surrounding areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation accuracy, and confidentiality adherence.
- Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations and settings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations; highly organized and skilled in time management.
