We are a premier professional sports organization dedicated to delivering elite fan experiences, strategic partnerships, and on- and off-field excellence. Based in Los Angeles, this position offers an opportunity to shape sponsorships and operations for a high-profile franchise.
As the Sports Partnerships & Operations Manager, you will lead partnership strategy, activate sponsor rights, and oversee game-day operations and event logistics. You will collaborate with marketing, legal, finance, and venue teams to drive revenue, optimize fan engagement, and ensure flawless execution of all partner initiatives.
Responsibility
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with sponsors, teams, and vendors to drive revenue and fan engagement.
- Lead sponsorship activation, rights administration, deliverables, and post-event reporting.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute game-day operations, events, and venue logistics to ensure seamless experiences.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for partnerships and events.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Media, and PR to maximize sponsor ROI and brand alignment.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor compliance with league rules and brand guidelines, and manage risk.
- Leverage data analytics and CRM insights to optimize partnerships and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop a small cross-functional team of coordinators and interns.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sports partnerships, sponsorship activation, or operations within professional sports or entertainment.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and activating sponsor rights.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with data analytics, CRM systems, budgeting, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; ability to influence at all levels.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to support events and games.
- Knowledge of league policies, compliance requirements, and risk management best practices.
