Job description
Drive advanced NAND innovations with our expert team. Leverage your deep process know-how.
As a Staff Engineer in Process Development focusing on Dry Etch for NAND devices, you will lead development efforts to create robust, manufacturable etch solutions that deliver higher yields, tighter critical-dimension control, and reliable device performance. You will partner with cross functional teams to translate innovation from the lab into high volume manufacturing, while upholding safety and quality standards.
In this role you will own the complete lifecycle of dry etch process development for memory devices. From concept exploration and recipe design to tool qualification and transfer to production, you will apply rigorous DOE methodologies, analyze detailed process data, and implement process control strategies that reduce variability and defectivity. You will collaborate with lithography, deposition, materials science, and equipment teams to ensure seamless integration across the patterning and manufacturing flow.
Micron Semiconductors offers a dynamic, globally connected environment where your contributions directly influence product performance and customer outcomes. You will mentor engineers, communicate findings to technical and leadership audiences, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, leading high-impact projects, and shaping the next generation of NAND technology, this role will be an excellent fit.
