TerraNova Geoscience, Inc. is seeking a motivated Staff Geologist to join our Denver-based exploration team. You will conduct field mapping, core logging, and sedimentological analyses to support mineral exploration and hydrocarbon projects. This role offers hands-on field work, data integration, and collaborative problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibility
- Conduct field mapping and geologic observations in diverse terrains to support project objectives.
- Log cores, collect representative samples, and document lithology, structure, and mineralization.
- Perform basic geochemical analyses and coordinate with laboratories for advanced testing.
- Develop and maintain geological databases, GIS datasets, and geological maps.
- Collaborate with engineers and exploration teams to interpret data and build resource models.
- Prepare clear technical reports, sections for drill programs, and visual presentations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and project-specific regulations.
- Assist in strategic planning for exploration campaigns and evaluation of new targets.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 2–5 years of field geology or exploration experience; strong preference for mineral or hydrocarbon projects.
- Experience with GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) and data management; ability to create maps and interpret spatial data.
- Strong understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, and basic petrography; ability to log cores.
- Proficiency with geochemical sampling, lab coordination, and data interpretation.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and ethical fieldwork.
- Willingness to travel 20–40% for field campaigns and site visits.
