Responsibility
- Conduct field mapping, sampling, and geological logging in the exploration and environmental sectors.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret geological data using GIS and field software.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and sections for client deliverables and regulatory permits.
- Assist with project planning, proposal development, and client communications.
- Supervise field crews, ensure safety, and maintain quality control of data and samples.
- Contribute to mineral resource estimations and geostatistical analyses as needed.
- Maintain equipment, manage field logistics, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with environmental and engineering teams to integrate geologic data into designs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences; Master’s preferred.
- 2+ years of field geology experience with mineral exploration or environmental projects.
- Strong knowledge of lithology, structural geology, and sedimentology.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS, MS Office; experience with Leapfrog or Move is a plus.
- Ability to work in remote field locations, lift 50 lbs, and manage field safety.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills; client-focused attitude.
- Driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
