Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide expert medication counseling to patients and clinicians
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Review and assess medication interactions, dosages, and allergies
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and inventory systems
- Support vaccine administration and wellness services
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current and active Illinois pharmacy license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy
- Strong pharmaceutical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
