Responsibility
- Coordinate show calls, cueing, and backstage logistics to ensure timely performances.
- Maintain show documentation, prompt books, and safety protocols for each production.
- Lead daily rehearsals and pre-performance warm-ups; manage cast and crew communication.
- Oversee load-in/load-out, props, stage mechanics, and technical equipment.
- Collaborate with Directors, Designers, and Producers to execute artistic vision.
- Monitor continuity, pacing, and script integrity; troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Ensure compliance with venue policies, safety, and accessibility standards.
- Foster a collaborative and professional backstage environment.
Qualification
- 3+ years of stage management or related experience in theatre, dance, or live performance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency with show control software, wireless comms, and basic tech knowledge.
- Calm under pressure; excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Budget and paperwork management, prompt books, call sheets.
- Pass a background check and be able to work in the United States.
