Responsibility

  • Oversee production calendars, rehearsal schedules, and call sheets to ensure timely readiness for performances.
  • Coordinate communication among directors, designers, stage crew, and external venues to prevent overlap and conflicts.
  • Manage run crew during performances, including cue calling, props, set changes, and timing cues.
  • Ensure safety protocols, risk assessments, and compliance with venue policies during rehearsals and shows.
  • Liaise with venues, rental houses, and technical teams to secure equipment and manage load-in/load-out logistics.
  • Track budgets, manage inventory, and coordinate prop and costume needs with vendors and staff.
  • Prepare and distribute run sheets, cue sheets, and post-show reports for stakeholders.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Arts Administration, or related field; or equivalent professional experience in stage management.
  • 3+ years of stage management experience in live theatre or performing arts productions.
  • Proficiency with stage management software, QLab or similar cueing systems, and basic AV/lighting/sound concepts.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable performance schedules.
  • Strong collaboration skills with directors, designers, and performers; meticulous attention to detail.
