Join Luminous Lights Theatre, a vibrant NYC stage that celebrates diverse performances and community engagement. We are seeking an experienced Stage Manager to lead productions from setup to final curtain, ensuring safety, timing, and creative integrity across all departments.
As Stage Manager, you will coordinate all live elements of a production, maintain production calendars, and serve as the primary liaison between the director, designers, cast, and crew. This role requires strong leadership, impeccable communication, and a calm, solution-focused approach under pressure.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and document every production cue, timing, and blocking from load in through strike.
- Create and maintain production calendars, call sheets, and cue sheets.
- Lead communication between director, designers, cast, stage crew, and technical teams.
- Oversee safety protocols, equipment checks, and on call disaster recovery plans.
- Manage rehearsal and performance logistics, including loading schedules and prop management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during performances with calm, decisive action.
- Supervise stage crew, assign roles, conduct safety briefings, and provide training.
- Collaborate with house management to ensure smooth audience experiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in theatre production, stage management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 3-5 years in professional live theatre or equivalent venue.
- Proven ability to manage complex cueing and multi department collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive problem solving.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with stage terminology, lighting and sound basics, and safety standards.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late nights as production schedules require.
- Ability to operate within a fast paced, high pressure environment.
