We are seeking a proactive Stage Manager to coordinate rehearsals, performances, and touring logistics for our season in New York City.
As Stage Manager, you will lead communication among cast, crew, designers, and producers, maintain show documentation, and ensure safety, accuracy of cues, and smooth show operations.

Responsibility
- Coordinate all rehearsal and performance activities, including call times, cast seating, and on-stage cues.
- Manage script and prompt book, blocking notes, and production documentation.
- Lead daily communications with cast, designers, and crew; facilitate problem-solving in real time.
- Oversee safety procedures, emergency plans, and compliance with venue policies.
- Schedule and track rehearsal progress, attendance, and calendar conflicts.
- Supervise backstage operations, cue timing, prop management, and cue-to-cue reporting.
- Collaborate with producers to coordinate touring logistics and venue handoffs when applicable.
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of stage management experience in professional theatre productions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of stage cues, blocking notation, and prompt script management.
- Ability to anticipate issues, problem-solve, and maintain calm during performances.
- Proficiency with production software (QLab, Show Cue System, MS Office).
- Availability for full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and tech weeks.
