Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging lessons in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for grades 6-8.
- Integrate innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning.
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and school initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Participate in extracurricular STEM clubs and school events.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing curriculum improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid California Teaching Credential or eligibility for certification.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a middle school environment.
- Strong knowledge of STEM curriculum and instructional technology.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for student-centered learning and innovation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and families.
